whoooooa....easy there, guys. I am claiming no crown. I just enjoy making a salad like some enjoy gettin' a stew goin. In fact, I had an experimental corn salad of my own go horribly wrong last night (note to self: dollop of arugula pesto on corn salad is good, but mozzarella in the salad is bad). It was definitely a case of getting carried away. But this bean dish was pretty easy, and delicious. Steamed the beans, then tossed together with some half cherry 'maters, olive oil, balsamic, and some basil chiffonade. Oh and I added a few toasted pine nuts for some flair. I've also been making lots of romano beans lately--green and yellow, sauteed with the same cherry 'maters and a clove or two of garlic.
