So the radishes last week were just a teaser for what was on tap today: beets, cucumbers, fresh peas, sugar snap peas, and the first tomatoes of the year (although, unlike Wonderwood, I'm still holding out). There were cherries as well, but to a Michigan boy only the Traverse City originals taste like home. We also scored some farm fresh eggs, which tasted heavenly with rosemary/olive sourdough toast. The beets came attached to some fine looking greens; I've got plans for both ends -- check back on that soon.
